Math information Night at Newport: A special session for parents at Newport on February 28 from 7 to 8:30 pm in the Library. This is an opportunity to learn about our new math curriculum pilot from our secondary school BSD Curriculum Director, provide feedback and hear from Newport administration and teachers on how we are moving forward to support our students. Please come to learn and contribute to this important discussion.

​Classroom bucks is a direct donation ask that helps the Newport High School PTSA award Newport High School teachers requested classroom items as well as fund grants for requested Newport PTSA programs.

Student Event: Knights in Vienna is back! The annual Viennese Style Waltz night put on by the Newport Orchestra Program. The evening will feature live music by the Newport Orchestras, along with a professional dance instructor from Brian Jolly Dance Studio, and its long been a Newport tradition for students to get dressed up and come out for a fun night of dancing to celebrate the end of finals. Of course, there will be plenty of fabulous food with gourmet desserts and savory snacks to enjoy! Knights in Vienna will be held on Saturday, February 4th, at 7:00 pm, in the Newport High School Ballroom (usually referred to as the gym). Tickets for students are $15, for adults are $25 in advance. Tickets are available at sono-newport.com, or by scanning the QR code on our KIV posters. We are excited about this event and hope you will join us at 7pm on Saturday, February 4th!
