Newport High School PTSA Ski Swap
The Newport Ski Swap is the PTSA’s largest and most vital fundraiser, directly supporting every student, teacher, and department in the school. This annual event generally happens the second week of November falling around Veteran's Day. This incredible undertaking requires Newport High school students and parents to work together to create a venue for the Eastside snow sport community to consign gently used, or purchase new & used ski equipment. Students can earn volunteer hours AND gain a valuable understanding of customer service, working with a team, importance of personal presentation and attention to detail - all important things to practice for future employment.
